We have a Scripture led approach to the teaching of Religious Education, this is in keeping with the vision of the RED (Religious Educational Directory). Our school aim to teach the children the skills they need to interpret the words of the scripture, learning the cultural, historic and literary form of the text. 

EYFS and KS1 use 'Lighting the Path' to help them deepen their religious education, with KS2 using the 'Way, the Truth and the Life'. This breaks the year into 6 distinct topics and allows for a spiral curriculum.
